Wise JetSearch

Need to access a file, but you can’t remember where you saved it? With a bit of help from Wise JetSearch you can easily locate it. You see, Wise JetSearch is a free application that can quickly find any file that is stored on a local drive. Just tell it where to look, what to look for, and launch the search process; in a matter of seconds you will be presented with a list of results.

Support for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions is provided; that means any Windows edition from Windows XP all the way up to Windows 8. So if you have a PC that runs any of these Windows editions, you can install Wise JetSearch on it. Mind you, installing this application will take little time and effort.

Wise JetSearch features a main interface and a quick search window. When you run the application, the main interface will be displayed front and center on your desktop. You’ll find the quick search window hidden away in the upper right hand corner of the desktop. By default, this window launches every time you run Wise JetSearch.

Using the main interface to search for a file is a simple three-step process:
Step 1 – tell the application where to look. You can select one or multiple local drives.
Step 2 – tell the application what to look for. Input the keywords that will be used during the search process.
Step 3 – launch the search and let the application do its thing. In a few seconds you will be presented with a list of results. Right click a result from the list and you will be presented with a context menu that features the following options: open file, open folder, copy file/folder, delete file/files, properties, select all items, select none, invert selection, copy full path, copy directory.
